Week 1....

Crossed the Canada border with no problems. Drove through BC To Banff NP and then on to Lake Louise. From there I decided to do the Trans Canada highway 1 section across BC to Vancouver. There are all sorts of unique and amazing views and lakes and rivers and mountains across Highway 1. And quite a few quirky and odd attractions along the way. Horseshoe Bay and the Ferry in the pic. From Vancouver I traveled The sea to sky highway to Whistler and on the way to the olympic sportspark ran into 4 different bears. Almost literally ran into 2 right on the road, including one huge boar that was about twice the size as the one in the picture. This one was far enough away that I felt safe taking a picture from my bike. From Whistler took The Yellowhead highway on to Prince George where I found a poker game. Played for about 6 hours when the dealer called last three hands. on the second to last hand I called a raise in position with a King of diamonds and a Jack of spades. Dealer flopped a Ten Queen and King of Spades. Guy next to me bets and I raise. He goes all in and I called. He flopped a low flush, dealer peels off the Ace of spades on the turn for the royal flush. Only the second one I have ever had in a live game. Won a $400 pot and a t shirt from the treasure valley casino. From Prince George I decided to ride to the coast and Prince Rupert. Next On to Alaska
